We require a singer for a New Wave covers band based in the Midlands. I play bass and we have a guitar player and drummer. The material we propose to do is from the Old School Punk/New Wave/Powerpop era (which we witnessed first hand at the time !) with songs by The Clash, The Jam, The Undertones, Buzzcocks, XTC, Ian Dury,…

I play bass and we have a guitar player and drummer.

The material we propose to do is from the Old School Punk/New Wave/Powerpop era (which we witnessed first hand at the time !) with songs by The Clash, The Jam, The Undertones, Buzzcocks, XTC, Ian Dury, Talking Heads, Tom Robinson, Skids etc etc.

Should be fun and worth a few bob if we can find the right man.

Youngsters may of course apply but it might suit someone with those sorts of records in their collections from first time around !
