    Hi guys,

I'm very curious on 2 topics but I need a little help in the right direction.

Firstly, can anybody tell me how one transfers their voting registration from one region to another, and if there are any specific requirements, e.g length of residency?

Secondly, what are the requirements for an individual to run as an independent candidate for TD in Local elections?

Any information with sources would be a great help guys,

    Thanks!

Local election are for council seats, General election is for TDs

To change your vote contact the Frachise Section of your Local Authority.

To run as an Indpendent you need to get registered voters to sign your nomination papersto run as a TD, can't remember the number though.
