got myself a logitech harmony remote on a recent BA and for anyone with multiple devices, A/V reciever, computer, sky, and TV etc I'd highly recommend remotes have finally the ability to turn and switch inputs volumes etc with one click, knowing ur watching sky with av reciever output and can adjust vvolume, sky guide etc. no more fiddling with inputs! I like my gadgets an finally the wife is very happy. otherwise I'm sure this remote is fine for just a TV.

You have expensive tastes :) This one is really just meant for Tv control such as a cheap one-for-all, but cheaper :)

Thanks op! Not for the remote but the seller! Most of his stuff is ridiculously cheap! Better than dx! Just randomly bought a watch with a heart rate monitor for £4 delivered! Im even seeing a few products on there that are actually sold by dx but the ebay store is way cheaper!

I feel a random spending spree coming on :p

I'd be interested in that too!
Was looking out for a half decent remote and the cheapest I could find at the time was about 40-50.

In the end I took a chance on the universal remote at Lidl which cost 10 euro. Best ten quid I spend in a long time. The remote is a decent build and you can program buttons by learning the commands directly from another remote. very handy.

Yea, same as that. I tuned the sat., upc box, dvd, vcr, & tv by the learn function. Its a bummer to get all the functions going, but worth it in the end. Best tenner I spent in a long time too:)

Does anyone know if the above remote (or indeed any one for all) can be coded to control a hard drive media player? The remote is acting up off it and would rather get a new one but I was unsure if one for all's will work with them

The lidl one mentioned above should work as it can learn commands from the original remote. Its the only cheap remote I could find that worked all my stuff.

Got one of these through BA recently for about 15 euro. A great piece of kit. No compatability issues and a great support site if needed. You could do a lot worse. Easier to use that the harmony by a long way;)
