Strobe Light Problems

Just wondering if anyone has had this problem or any tips on how to get around it

Almost a year ago i got a 1500 watt strobe light worked fine at home but once i tested it at gigs it would flash once and trip the trip switch of that area so after a few gigs i just packed it up and sold it

Now i have just bought a new 750 Watt DMX strobe light ( thinking its half the power so less of a draw from the plug ) but am still having the same problem that it would work fine but then trip the trip switches randomly during the night

The way i have it setup now is that i draw all my power for powering my lighting rig from a separate room of the venue likewise with my amp & decks so that is the strobe does tip the switch it only cuts the lights and the party does not come to a stand still

My lighting rig is all LED and lasers so were only talking a couple of hundred watts at the max

what I dont understand is that i could have a line of 4 X 500watt par cans fully on and it wont cut out , but a 750watt strobe trips the trip switch ?!

I'm no electrician but AFAIK its the nature of a strobe thats causing it. Because they come on only suddenly with a massive burst of current and then off again it may be the RCDs detecting a grounding so to speak.

Are you using power reels? Are they partially/fully wound?

Thats what i was thinking myself , yeah im using reels which are partially unwound
what i don't understand is that it works perfect then maybe an hour later it will trip

I have been looking for an LED strobe but there useless so far !

Maybe il try it fully unwound , the reel is 13A fully unwound and the draw on all my LED fixtures are about 0.5A each the strobe is 13A so shouldn't be effecting it having them all on the same circuit ?!

If its installment grade gear maybe see what the 19" power rails are running.
