Will make this as basic as i can. I had an accident in work 8 months ago or so. Serious injury that has left me with a disability and chronic pain for life.
I feel ready to go back to work and am very eager to do so, but i have a concern. My job is manual work and some driving, although i feel ready i'm not sure how long i will last in work. I don't want to put in a final cert in and break down in work 3 days later and be back to square one. Any ideas?

Have a look at this http://www.citizensinformation.ie/categories/social-welfare/social-welfare-payments/social-welfare-payments-and-work/disability-payments-and-work if you employer will let you return to work for 19 and a half hours a week you can apply for a dispensation from the dept,to allow you to try and go back to work.If you cant manage it you can continue with your certs.
