How many flares/lanterns can you see in the sky right now?

Just popped out for a smoke and caught the dazzling sight of 3 (yes 3!!!!) lanterns or flares or whatever you call them balls of light that float upwards in the air for about 2 minutes they are selling these days under the guise of "Fireworks"

How many can you see out your window right now?

Is it just me or are they the biggest waste of money EVER? If I'm going to spend money on fireworks I want an explosion at least or even something akin to what you would see in the sky over Iraq! I never thought I would ever be disappointed by a firework!

The curtains and blinds are closed and can't be bothered getting up to look. There's a streetlight right outside anyway,so doubt i'd see much.
Can hear a few fireworks going off every now and then, but nothing major

A few garages are selling those Chinese lantern yokes for €1.99 a pop so expect to see a few more lights in the sky / UFO's in the next while.

Can hear a few bangs every few minutes but everytime i go out to have a look, there has been nothing. There will probably be better show tomorrow evening.

I saw one of those lanterns tonight, and one last night and the night before. I love them, think they're really pretty. Other than that, I can just hear lots of bangs but see nothing.
