New Car Key

    Hi all,

Want to get a new key for a 2001 Toyota Avesis. Only have the one key, and both the unlock and lock buttons have come out of the key. So while I can get by without the buttons, its a bit of a pain.

Have been quoted €145 by Toyota for a replacement key, to program it etc.

Is there a cheaper way to do this,or do I just have to cough up?

    Cheers,
    MartinAnt

As galling as it sounds, that is not a bad price from Toyota.

Volvo wantedand got €200 from me for a programmed key and that did not include a rmote fob.
