Hey all, just wondering could anyone give advice as to what I should do in my current situation. I applied for JSA at the start of September, still haven't received a penny from them yet, backlogged, but I've got a temporary job for Christmas, I start work next Saturday and the hours are based on how busy the store is, so no definate 'hours per week' so to speak.

My question is do I tell the SWO as soon as possible? Would I sign off? I'm confused about the whole thing...

When you get your first money, then you should tell them that you have got a temp job of X hours per week. They will not penalise you the full amount of what you will be earning. If you tell them now you may well delay your payment even further.

Cool, thanks, so what your saying is dont say anything until I get the first payment? How come it could delay payment  I was under the impression that getting the job might speed up the process somehow.
