Been following this kid last two fights.
    Has serious KO power
    Last fight KOed Ayala brutally
Now hes just after KOing Camacho Jr in RD1.
Would love to see him and Pirog square off.
Middleweight division is stacked with great up and coming fighters

you have in fairness. his demolition of ayala was v impressive.

raw? not so sure. there are a load of boxing training videos of him as a teenager on youtube modelling techniques for a trainer - can't remember name, youtube blocked here but i'll see if i can find them. i thought his technique is very tight. i think the problem is that he's winning fights before he even needs to vary combinations, so we see nothin basically. just watched naugler fight, good technique again.

Wheels came off last night, he got stopped by Rubio last night in 7 rounds. Haven't seen it but i've read he started well but as the fight went on and Rubio survived the early onslaught Rubio stepped up and caught him with big right where Lemieux took a count before Rubio the finished him with the cornermen throwing in the towel.

kid was way too cocky in the build up and during the fight. he learned a big lesson tonite. gassed way too early trying to put away rubio. when u step up they dont fall as easy. hes still only 22 and a huge prospect. think he will come back from this but question is out there now.

He was too cocky alright. He was controlling the fight, and in the 5th round he was showboating for the cameras. Foolish to get ahead of yourself against a guy as tough and experiences as Rubio. A guy with 42 KO's in 49 wins always, always has a chance. A round later Lemeiux was rocked, and in the 7th knocked out. Says it all. Anber did him a favour throwing in the towel 'early', he was beaten and about to take a battering in the corner. Anyway, I suppose cockiness is a natural thing for a 22 year old who's won almost every fight by knockout. He'll be back and better I'm sure, needs to tighten up the defense though and he definitely needs better conditioning. Always thought he looked a bit soft around the middle and being shattered after 6 rounds last night proves he needs more fitness work.

Kirkland and Lemieux both went into their fights too cocky, glad to see it was punished accordingly

At least Rubio is a proven puncher. Kirkland's opponent is regarded as feather fisted, and he was blown away in a round. Bringing new meaning to the words 'Glass Jaw'.
