Can anybody tell me how long I would have to wait to do my full licence test if I booked it tomorrow..? Approx.?

Is there any hope of getting it done before xmas?

You will fail 47 times and have to wait 47 weeks for a retest each time. Does that help ya?

If I were you, I would state on the application that you would be prepared to sit the test if a cancellation was made by someone at short notice.

You could also get your employer to write a letter stating you need the full licence asap.

Hope that helps - good luck with the test.

Firstly, you must have had your provisional/learner permit for 6 months before taking a test. Waiting times are now averaging around 10 weeks so you could possibly sit it before Christmas, although I presume they carry out fewer tests per day during the winter, making waiting times slightly longer.
