    asking prices for 02 / 03 7 series on carzone are from about 9k and up, anyone have any idea what they are actually selling for?

    I wouldn't bother, they're crap. Electrical problems abound.

    Go for a 2001 E38 or a facelifted 2005+ E65 unless you like your pockets being emptied.

    I wouldn't take it for free to be honest. One of the worst looking cars on Earth and one of the most troublesome as well. If you want a 7er then go for an earlier E38.

    As well as dog ugly. I'll always give a design time to mature/grow on me but the last 7 was a mutant. End of.

    Couldn't agree more. Had the misfortune of being stuck behind one in traffic last week, it's just awful to look at.
