It does not have an MPEG 4 HD decoder as far as I can see, and does not have the French TNT HD logo.

    So NO

    Thanks guys
So when looking for a decoder it must have MPEG4 decoder
    and the TNT HD symbol.
Does it necessarily have to have an MPEG4 HD decoder or just
    an MPEG4 decoder?

Must be able to handle MPEG4 HD, also probably will need to handle AAC audio at some stage.

TNT HD is now a "bad idea" as that uses MHP, not MHEG5. Better to look for "Freeview HD", which is MPEG4, HD, MHEG5 and DVB-T2 (backward compatible to DVB-T).

You need MPEG4 HD as minimum see http://www.techtir.ie/saorview/preliminary
