    Hey all.

I've an iPhone 3g which I was using with o2 up until today when I switched providers to Vodafone and got a free iPhone 4 as part of the deal. Anyway I've still got the same number on the iPhone 4 but I've a different sim card and all my numbers are still on my o2 sim on the old iPhone 3g. Any way of transferring them?

    Cheers,

    Duff.

    Actually op its quite easy,

You can use the old phone to copy all the sim contacts to the address book in the phone by going to settings-> Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Import SIM Contacts.

Then sync the phone to your computer, when you set up the new iPhone 4, if will ask you would you like to restore from a previous back up, select the one you just backed up and it will transfer all your contact to the new phone.

@Type 17, no need to be rude mate, I'm sure he did look up Google, but his question was specifically about importing SIM contacts which a Google search may not have yielded. We all know about lmgtfy.com and you are not being funny or original by suggesting this
