Hollow bar maximum weight?

Hi, I have a hollow bar that weighs about a kilogram. I threw 60kg onto it earlier and noticed a slight curvature. I got it with a 50kg set in argos, whats the max weight I can put on the bar without it snapping mid-rep. Thanks

I have a hollow york ezcurl bar and I think it said it is rated to 60kg. It began to bend past ~110kg, I think the max I had on it was 130-140kg and it did seem quite dodgy at that. I am not sure how hollow bars actually fail, e.g. if they actually snap or just bend to bits. I got a solid bar and just use the hollow for lighter stuff, never more than 100kg now.

you can email them and pick it up in a shop or possibly a gym in dublin city to avoid postage.

Note that your weights have 1" holes and are called standard, bars & plates for 2" holes are olympic.
