    Marantz NA7004
    Guys,

Apologies that we have been around a bit less over the last few days - but hopefully we have pretty much caught up now!

I'm posting a few bits up for you today - including new products in & Package deals so hopefully we will get to chat to more of you over the next few days..

The 1st product is a slightly weird one but a new product in a segment that we pretty much own at the moment with our Cambridge Audio Dacmagic which is a class leader.

However this new product from Marantz completely re-establishes what's possible for this product category at a reasonable(ish) price point with their new NA7004 - the NA7004 is your ideal connection to your favourite music, no matter where it comes from – whether it’s from your PC, external hard disc, or as an FM, DAB or DAB+ radio station broadcast in your country, or even on the other side of the world via Internet radio or music service Napster. (region specific)

The NA7004 connects to them all. That’s because it incorporates technology based on the DLNA1.5 standard for audio streaming. This functionality can also be found in other products, but here it is much more directed to music lovers and audiophiles, because Marantz has done everything to ensure top-quality audio: rigid cabinet structure, strong power supply, audio output stage applying the famous HDAM-SA2, and fine-tuning by customized components. This network audio player is even ideal for people with no network installed in the home. Simply hook-up the NA7004 via USB connector on the back to your PC and it will recognize the NA7004 as an external sound card. That’s the most direct way to enjoy excellent quality. And there’s more: digital inputs, iPod-digital-compatible USB and optional Bluetooth reception.

Amazingly it’s also extremely easy to operate via the large display. It all goes to make the NA7004 your open door to a myriad of music stations, podcasts, documentary channels and more – all with the best possible audio quality.

Also - Marantz have just announced that the NA7004 will support Apple Airplay functionality via an optional app from the end of November(ish) AirPlay, will enable iTunes 10 users to stream music to remote speakers and systems using AirPort Express, for whole-house music streaming.

Here are the technical details (and we have had an initial listen to it via a CD6003 using the DAC's on the NA7004 and it sounds flipping fantastic!)

We have this in stock now and if you have any queries just give give us a shout..

Oh yep - the retail price is £699.95 / €799.99 but we would be happy to do a Boardie price ;) - if you are interested just PM us and we will give you a price by return ;).
