mink problem

    we've had trouble with mink at our flight pond. I've trappede an adult male and female in the last week. Does anyone know the average size of a brood?

    I not a hundred percent on this, but what I can gather is that typical litter size would be 5-6 but can be be as much 2-10. Check this link out on mink biology. Hope it is of some use

    Cubs will be well gone by now, mink are territorial so only a male and female will be around this time of year but there territory will be taken over after a period of time.

    On my rivers I find about 3-4 weeks will see new stock move down from upstream.
