hey all... ok, so I know we've only just recently got our first grant installment this month but does anybody know when the second installment will be paid?? Most of mine from this month had to go on books and owing people money so skint again already! :(

At least you got your first installment.

Second one is usually around january. There is a recent thread on here with the timescales between installments dates given.

Hiya, I was wondering the same thing..

I only got my grant a few weeks ago and it's nearly all gone.

Nearly everything went on college things.
I don't have much left for food or transport.
It's really stressing me as my Mom doesn't have much money, and I don't have a job.

Ughh..

some of us have not got the 1st installment - I for one will be joining the USI protest on Wednesday anyway because I am basically spending my life savings right now

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
