    hello

i bought in a bunch of heifers from the mart just over 2 weeks ago
they are around the 330 - 350 kg mark
i dosed them with animec injection and levafas diamond down the throat dose for fluke.
they are still coughing, there is a couple of them very skittery.maybe this is normal at this time of year.
    any suggestions or recommendations.
they are still out on the grass
    thanks

if they had lung damage it will take longer than 2 weeks to disappear
the cough could be sign that the dosing is working, likewise with the fluke dose.
    ,
monitor closely and watch for pneumonia and just leave them be for now

if you are not happy with them after a couple of weeks or if you are housing them I would consider dosing again,

might be no harm discuss with your vet or a rep from 1 of the companies selling doses

cattle should actually cough a bit more after dosing as they are coughing up the dead worms.

as said, wouldn't worry too much at this stage but monitor closely.

No harm give them a little meal too.
It's great for young cattle this time of year. Not much feed value in grass now.

    thanks for the info people
    they are on good grass
they are getting meal as well
they seem to be doing ok
was just afraid after all the dosing it may not be working
animec might not be the best stuff but i wanted to use it up, it doesnt do fluke, thats why i used Levafas Diamond Fluke and Worm Drench for fluke
