Time for Dole and Public Sector to pay

    Our next budget should cut the dole of people on benefits over 5+ YEARS and it should be cut in half at least....couldn't get a job in the Celtic Tiger :rolleyes:


    Also time to hammer Higher earning Public sector "workers" something like 33% cut for anyone earning over 60k+

    Millions upon millions saved and the average joe fairly unhurt.

    I think other areas of Social Welfare should be reviewed i.e Single Mother housing, medical cards etc I'd be fairly certain their could be some cost cutting measures put in place there

    P.S I know four fairly middle class lads in their mid-twenties who've been on the dole 6/7 years and would laugh in your face if you offered them a job.....they go golfing 3 times a week and out 2/3 times a week :mad:
