I'm hoping someone here can help me. I have been using this CCTv viewing system (the backupviewer) in work (which uses a windows platform) no problems. However when I tried to play it at home (on an iMac) it didn't recognise the bakupviewer player whatsoever. I clicked on it and all that came up was a weird text file instead of the media player itself??

It's a CCTV monitoring software application that works off of a .exe (executable) file. I just learned that these are windows files which are not recognisable by Mac - lousy!!!
