Withdrawing foreign money abroad using my ATM card?

    Hi all

I was wondering if I could get some advice on this.

I am going to Poland for a few months so I'll need some Polish money.

If I simply use an ATM to withdraw money in Poland, will I be charged a horrible rate? If so, what's the best thing I can do - get Polish currency from my local bank?

    Cheers!

You will be charged fees for ATM withdrawals as Poland is outside the Eurozone. Check with your bank as to how much.

Generally though, the fees may not add up to that much more than foreign exchange commission if you're only using it once or twice and/or taking out larger amounts.
