I phone 4 mic not working

Don't know if this has been posted before but having trouble with me ringing people or people ringing me and they can't hear me(I can hear them perfect). Rang cs and the told me to restore the phone did that it did not work. Rang again he asked me to bring it too the apple store in Belfast (6 hour car journey to bring my phone to them I don't think so) then he said they would replace my phone but I would be without a phone until I got a new one because with the micro sim card I can't even put it in another phone. Then he said he would replace my phone for 30 euro within 48 hours!! I'm not willing to pay to have it fixed and I can't not have a phone as I Need it for my job only had it a month. Anybody else had these problems?? This might seem like a bit of a rant but it's really annoying!!!!

Could be a known sensor issue muting the call. Latest update fixes. If not you could ask your operator / retailer to supply a microsim adapter so you can throw it in to another phone while being replaced.

Yea tried that didn't work. But had lovely conversation with some senior cs opperator and after a bit of an argument she said she would wave the cost of the phone being replaced. It just goes to show that if you complain enough they will do it for free!!!
