Interest in buying LCD TV, 37-42"

    Hi there,

I am interested in buying a LCD TV for my living room and want one in the 37-42" bracket, want Full HD and am looking at the €400 to €600 price range (the lower the better but if much better spec available for modest price increase then I'm interested to hear). I don't expect to use the TV for gaming. I want to be able to connect my laptop either via hdmi or wirelessly (laptop has hdmi connector and blu-ray player). I don't know much of the pros and cons of Plasma vs. LCD but if you think Plasma might be a better option, I'm up for considering this too,

I don't have a surround sound system so perhaps you could let me know the sound quality of the suggested TVs and whether you think I should buy surround sound system separately. If possible, I'd rather just get a tv with decent sound built in.

I'm living in Dublin but my girlfriend is up in the north of ireland regularly for work and so could collect a tv for me from there if it means I can get a better price. I'm interested in getting a warranty so let me know the included warranty and options for extending.

    Thanks
