Type 3 by # on the emergency screen, then hit the call button and almost simultaneously hit the off button.

Bypassed the security and had access to everything on the phone.

Im sure Apple will have a patch soon - 16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

Oh wait it didn't really. I can't get out of the phone app. Is there another trick to get out of that?

Yeah - half works for me too - brings me to the phone app but after that returns me to the lock screen.

Still, someone could make a lot of calls to Australia that way!

Can't replicate it here. So Emergency Call > Type "#" 3 times > hit the Call Button and the Lock button simultaneously

Just locks the phone for me...

There's another way too according TUAW. When the passcode screen comes up tap Emergency Call, dial any number then hit Sleep button right away.

I think hitting call "followed quickly by the sleep button" would be a better description.

I was too quick with the sleep button the first couple of times and then left a second or so gap and it worked.
