Elect disconnect charges to be halved??

    It looks like CER have put forward proposals which would mean that instead of the customer paying the guts of €100 for the pleasure of being disconnected the customer will now pay €50 and the supplier Bord Gais, Airtricity ESB will pay €50 lots of other "safeguards" in there as well.
    Interesting to see how the alternatives react. Its easy to pick up a customer with the great offers but with the possibility that if you disconnect and CER seem to be saying that is the last option it will cost the COMPANY €50 interestimg times ahead. Also no disconnections for the elderly and vulnerable. I know the ESB sent out a thing a while back where you could register as vulnerable but I reckon everyone in the country will now realise we are all vulnerable :D
