Hey guys , im looking for a bit of help regarding this scenario that I have been given. I will write a full report myself but I'm looking for some ideas and reasons from people that would know best :-D

So here is the scenario :

The government has changed the laws regarding pensions instead of receiving a state pension when you retire , each citizen will receive a lump sum of €65000 when they start work. this money is to be invested during the citizens working life and then used for their retirement fund.
You are not allowed ti touch the interest or capital of this fund during the working lives , as these earning are to be reinvested in the overall fund. All citizens however do have a choice of where they wish to invest their money and can change these investments at any time.

So im looking for some originality here please , This isn't my comfort zone and im looking for a push in the right direction :-D
Hopefully i can this will spark a discussion.

Very interesting Scenario, would amount to about 6 years of current state pension spend on a person.

Say on 40 years sum would amount to
    €457,599.27 @ 5% Growth
    €2,941,851 @ 10% Growth
    €17,411,130 @ 15% Growth
    €95,535,151 @ 20% Growth

What about foreign national who work for 40 years and pay taxes in Ireland but never apply for Irish passport?
What about people who get temporary job to receive €65000 and then spend the rest of their lives on social welfare?
