Applying For A Provisional Licence

    I got my first provisional licence a few years ago and it has since expired. I'm applying for a second one but I can't find the first one (could be anywhere, haven't seen it in years). Theres a few questions on the application form about details of my first licence which I can't answer. Does anyone know how I can get around this or will I have to sit my theory test, get my eyes tested again etc.

    Yes I believe so and its now called a "learner's permit".

    I guess I should have been more specific in the OP. It definitely hasn't been expired for more than 5 years. I'm applying by post so would I be able to send this form (The one I receive from the Garda Station) instead of my licence along with the application form for the second learner permit?

    I know its asking a lot but if that is the case do you have any idea what I should do with the questions on the form regarding the details of my first provisional licence? Leave them blank?
