Programmed car keys

Is there any way I can do this myself? I lost the car keys last night so need a new set for spare in case I do it again. Anyone know roughly how much it costs to get it programmed? I can see you can buy the fob on eBay for a couple of quid.

    It's a Citeron C3 if that matters...

Locksmith/mechanic near Croke Park does it but was looking for 150 on my old Almera. Doesn't seem to be a cheap way to do it.
