i was going to head up to hrta sometime and i was just wondering which is better a night game or a daytime game and why. Also i do not realy understand how a night game works, like would it not be realy hard to hit your opponent and they more than likely wont call there hits, Anyway let me know what you think
    Thanks

Night brings a different dimension to the game, I've only played one night game, they're pretty rare so most players will never go to one. If you're only starting off go to a day game to get your footing.

I would highly suggest playing at the site during the day before hitting it up at night, at least then you have a slight idea where the hell your going.

I prefer day games for the simple reason that I have enough to worry about as is, I don't need some jumpy teammate to shoot me in the back cause he saw some movement ;). (Which happens a surprising amount at night games).
But in saying that, they are pretty fun all the same. Brings sneaking about to a whole different level.

It would be really hard to hit your opponent, but that's most of the idea of a night game. After about 20 minutes, your eyes give you a certain level of night vision, but you'll struggle to be on target. This usually brings engagements in closer. Some people will use night vision, some will use tracer rounds, some will even use both. Most people will simply use their eyes and the occasional assistance of a flashlight.
It's all part of the idea of a night game. It's tough and it's tense, and it's vastly different to a day game.

As for being more likely to not call hits, that's almost certainly the opposite case. The people who go to night games tend to be the type of people who also play milsim games and/or generally play the game with the utmost honour, and respect for the rules.
Anyone who lays in a cold, wet field in at midnight, whispering to the guy beside him about "rustling leaves at 2 o'clock" is probably going to be the kind of dedicated nutter you can depend on to play the game well.
