Help - (house) paint on car!

Can I ask if anybody has had experience of getting house paint off their car? Our apartment block has painters in doing the balconies at the moment & have paint splatters all over the back of our (silver metallic) car, including on the back windscreen. Most are tiny paint flecks with only a few larger paint specks. I tried using bug & tar remover on a small section yesterday, was v gentle & washed & dried afterwards but the paintwork around where I was looks a bit "spotty" so I'm reluctant to do more in case I'm lifting a layer of paint. Disaster!! I'm so annoyed with myself as I have a horrible feeling I have damaged the car
Has anyone used clay bar in this situation? Or should I just throw a wobbly & call the management company (but don't want to leave the paint sitting longer on the car while it gets resolved & also don't want to be the tosser with the flash car making a stink?) Any advice please!

Painters should have asked you to move the car and if they could not find you then put sheets over it. Now you can ask the contractor to get it professionally polished off. Its his fault.

    Good luck.

On the other hand Methalated spirits dissolves emulsion if you want too try it.

Works but use LOADS of clean water afterwards to wash away the spirits and watery paint. You could end up with a bigger mess otherwise.
