This event is a glorified televised exhibition for snooker, the players and fans, with music playing throughout, players rigged up with mics and plenty of glamour models on show, it's main purpose is to bring snooker to a more widespread audience,to test the ITV viewers interest and obviously to encourage more sponsors. With no ranking points at stake it should be enjoyable and with the event being run over a single day attract a good crowd.

Hopefully if they get enough viewers they might consider taking on the World Open next year?

Hopefully. Hearn might look to move the event into Europe to try stir up some more sponsors.

I might be biased but I think Dublin would be an excellent choice !

Eurosport are showing it outside of the UK. Haven't checked the listings yet but I think its the UK channels we get over here.

Setanta Ireland are showing the evening session from 6pm according to www.livesportontv.com
