Hi all, I dropped my 3Gs and broke the volume button. I was going to chance a fix myself from iFixit.com but just wanted to check if there are recommendations for a reasonable price? Thanks in advance,

You broke it as in you need a replacement button or the volume unit has to be fixed.

TBH, its one of the more annoying parts to change.

You need to completely disassemble the whole phone, remove screen, remove circuit board, remove the battery, and that's the easy part

next you have to remove the besal screws and remove the headphone jack and power button, then and only then can you access the volume rocker button.

If you are sure you can put it all back together I would say give it a go. If you get really stuck you could bring it into a shop to fix it for you

Go on eBay. They all them for 2euro or less. They're the Chinese replica bit they do the same job.
