    PVD = Physical Vapor Deposit.

    PVD is a process. Hydro-carbon atoms are deposited in a very thin but very hard layer. Not so hard that you can never scratch it though. DLC is a type of coating. DLC coating is applied using the PVD process.

    Sea dweller. Explorer II. GMT II and the Milgauss are available in the Black Rolex DLC range.

    These watches are not grey market, they are, however, pre-owned. They are Rolex watches that are purchased in excellent condition, and are then serviced and reconditioned.

    Oh and RSC won't honour warranty or servicing if your watch is DLC'd.
