Has anybody imported an airsoft pistol, rifle etc and is still waiting for it?
A buddy of mine recently ordered an M4 from airsoftxtreme.pl the delivery time was stated at 14 days to europe which is nearly a month ago, still no sigh of it even though the company supplied a ups tracking number, Ups say its a genuine number but cannot tell him where its at, the polish airsoft retailer refuse to accept responsibility for it so hes out 240 euro with no come back.
I heard a rumour recently that irish customs are destroying any airsoft guns imported from china, can someone tell me what the story is regarding personal imports as I cannot find any up to date info on it! Cheers

Thats because there is none. The law banning personal importation is in place but its not being enforced yet. So you can import the gun so long as its under 1J, same as always.

Just got a gun in myself last Tuesday from China.

And its UPS you want to go after. If they're saying its a genuine tracking number, keep on hassling them till they sort sh!t out and give you the damn package.

never dealt with the shop or know anyone who has so i can not really comment on there service, if the tracking number is not working then that is something for the shop to look into as they are responsible for shipping the goods out to you

if there shipping from inside poland it would be the eu and customs become less of an issue in terms of seizing items so i would not say that is the problem, if ups has a customs issue they contact you and customs would also contact you directly but to be that is not the issue hear, but as Dread-Lock said even if it was a customs issue, as long as it was under a joule you can still import at this point in time

i can not really find any information on the site in terms of feedback, which would make me a little concerned

how did you pay? if it is paypal then check the times and see if you can put in a dispute, if it is a credit card payment, then i would contact your card company and get them to start a cash back process, that should get there attention

UPS have obviously lost it, if it was customs when you type in the tracking number you would be told customs have it. Also if the shop put wrong adress it would tell you it was delivered. Id be almost certain UPS messed up so just get on their case until they help you out.

Or ofcourse after reading the above post the store could be a rogue trader.
