ok, dont know if this is the spot for the post or not but ill give it a shot.
Im thinking of applying to do a course in graphic design, in dublin preferably. Iv been to college, have a BA and an MA already, but i always wanted to study art and think a course in graphic design might be a good thing to do while i cant seem to get a job anywhere else.
Problem is, most places require you to have a portfolio as part of an entry requirement. I cant really afford to take a year out to construct a portfolio in a portfolio plc course, so im looking for a place that will take me as a mature student or somthing.

if anybody has any suggestions id be reall greatful. id be even happy to do a certificate or a fetac course in the area of graphic design.

Anyone know anything about the full-time Graphic Design FETAC L5 Course in Colaiste Stiofain Naofa, Cork?

tbh, the field is really small here, unless you know someone who is already in the field or you gain about 3+ years experience, your chances of landing a job in this field are slim. Unless you're prepared for that type of dedication and hard work! go for it :-)
