    I was recently given 2 female lambs by the father in-law for my 2 daughters as presents. I want to breed them next back end but to be honest i havent a clue about anything to do with sheep. I am looking for advice as in how to make a start;ie;when is the best time to run a ram with them? what diseases show i look out for? any infomation would be great . THANKS LADS

    Vaccinate against clostridial diseases with something like Covexin8 and against fluke and worms over the winter if they are out wintered with something like endospec. If you are in a fluke prone area then a fluke dose to kill immature fluke eg facinex should be used. You should probably ask your father in law as he will probably have the doses and vaccines for his own flock anyway. Oh and enjoy meeting the neighbours to get the sheep back:D
