    Hi guys,
Just need a bit of advice,I bought a composite av cable to connect my ipod touch to my HD tv.There are 5 connectors at the rear of the tv facing down;a left and right audio and a Y,Pb,Pr connectors which in totality appear to make up Extension 4.There does not appear to be a definite colour assigned to these connectors. The composite av cable has 3 connections. The instructions are to fit the yellow video connector into the video input port on the HD tv?Which one is this?Y,Pb or Pr?Should this video input port be coloured yellow? The white and red audio connectors go into the left and right analog audio input ports, respectively on your tv or receiver?I placed them in the left and right audio connectors. The video settings on the ipod touch are set to receive a PAL tv signal but I am not receiving any picture on Extension 4 or anywhere else?Anybody help?

You have a composite cable that won't connect to your component input. The cable you have is standard definition an you won't get a high def picture from it. Your tv should have a standard composite input -red, White and yellow
You either need to use this or else Get one of these

Does you TV have a composite* input, just use this.
Sometimes its on the front or side for attaching camcorders, consoles etc

*you know there's a difference between composite and compondent, right?

Thanks guys, can't believe my stupidity and carelessness.I presumed the 2 cable types were the same thing and bought the composite rather than the required component type cable!:eek:Silly me.:DThanks for all your help, going to do a swap in Argos.
