HOW TO GET WINDOW TINT OFF

    HI the other half has just got a 2008 rav 4 has all the bells and whistles on
    i.e bull bar side steps and what i can only describe as black bags on the windows cant see in and can just about see out .
    any one ever took tints off ?
    do they come off handy or do they rip like wallpaper comeing off.

    Heat it up with a hair dryer. Start to pull slowly until it looks to be coming off fully. Then use some warm soapy water and a blade to take the left over residue from the window. If you leave the tint hanging and use the blade every now and again while your pulling the tint it will catch everything and save you having to hoover afterwards!

    i took my tint off pretty much in one large sheet. just cut a corner with a blade to get a start and take your time and it should come off in one or two pieces.
    after you do this there will be glue all over the glass. i used auto glymm
    intensive tar remover.( about 6 euro a bottle) on a cloth to remove glue.
    what i thought would be a nightmare turned into a very quick fix.
    30 mins for two front windows. :D
