Yes! Nail on head. Gotta love Glenn Danzig and his horror punk. (although 2 of the song there are off Famous Monsters, which wasn't Danzig, but still)

Fantômas, Avant Garde Metal. I know you asked for no Metal, but be open minded for goodness sakes... Give it a listen.

Pretty much anything by The Cramps is a good call.

None of those have Danzig on them! Michale Graves is on all of them, though Jerry takes lead vocals in Monster Mash. I always preferred Misfits with Graves :)

Maybe because Danzig's had a bit more of a conventional post-punk thing about it. I find Graves Mistfits are a bit more fun to listen to, like "Helena", that's a great song, bitof a dark comedy to it. "If I cut off your arms, and if I cut off your legs, would you still love me, anyway?"

You could go instrumental and use scores from horror films. John Carpenter films usually have good scores and then there's always Tubular Bells.

    Halloween theme

This song would be more suited to a Pride Parade than Halloween. I'd go with the guy recommending the Misfits.

First thing I thought of was the Halloween Movie theme tune... For extra emphasis, run around the place stabbing everybody with a slash-hook..

maybe you could use it at the start of the night or as continuity..

Also topical (for True Blood fans) and apt song..

This song is in all 3 of the Scream movies. It always creeped me out when I heard it.

I know you've got Thriller, but this is a pretty awesome cover...
