Well basically I am 18 lad and I am really into clothes. I find tough that people my age only wear hoodies and tracksuits. I hate these so much. It is just not me. I have a very good dress scence. Well I think I do anyway!:D
I am into good looking jeans and I am into plain t-shirts all of those ones that has funny phrases on them look crap to me. I'm into jackets and shirts. The main colors I go for are grey's, blacks and whites. I hate bright colors I find that they can look very tacky.
My problems is alot of people I know complain to me about my clothes by saying they look gay and crap etc. I know there not tough. The thing is I do know that I dress to old for my age but is there any way I could change that without wearing boring fat pants and hoodies!

look around. not all clothes are for everyone, hoodies look great on some but crap on others.
fashion turns corners too. i used to be laughed at for wearing my bowler all the time. now hats are fashionable!

Dress to suit your own tastes OP and make no apology for it. If people make comments tell them politely but firmly that how you dress is none of their business but since they're commenting, tell them you consider their clothes 'crap' too. They'll soon get the message and learn to back off.

I'd recommend Gap and American Apparel for the neutral colours and plain styling that you like. Have confidence and have fun :)
