Aintree, Chepstow, Newbury & Doncaster - Where to look?

I know I'm going to leave most of the NH cards alone as far as digging the form for a bet. The Old Roan looks a definite watcher though I'd love to see Monets Garden take it again. I fancied him last year but never botherd with a bet.

I'm off to look at the Newbury and Donny cards but may have one on at Chepstow. I backed Lord Generous at Cheltenham last year and will weigh up his chances.

What are you looking forward to most tomorrow (Saturday)? Maybe it's Kempton. Don't be ashamed of your AW fetish!
    • Do you trust Medermit on his first go over fences?
    • Is Mille Chief ready to win?
    • I have Benbane Head in my tracker but is he worth a bet tomorrow?

Another is Lidar. King says he's on a nice mark of 128 but sends him stright into a Grade 2.

My strange fancy at Doncaster is Toolain e/w in the R.P. Trophy. Also going to have a small e/w on Art Broker in the last at Aintree ex Weld horse could be half decent if taking to jumping. Im on a super losing streak at the moment so im expecting these to finish to last !!

I've done a fiver on one of my favourites,La De Two at Newbury. Mille Chief could be very good but I think this has outsider written all over it. I'd rather lay Medermit at that price but not going near it.Rock Noir could be decent.

Scoter Fontaine is apparently highly regarded. Ran a good race today and McCoy was in no way hard on him (he drifted like a barge before the race)

Could make into a decent novice and is definitely one to keep an eye out for next time

    More decent jumps racing today

Franklino runs at Aintree, he's already a very short price for the Triumph

Cue Card makes his eagerly awaited hurdles debut and is up against a supposed decent horse in Niceen Creed

Might do a small double on the two,it would be interesting if either were to be beat.

Delighted I didn't do it,a 50/1 shot wins the first race.

Is it not obvious that beginners races are the biggest no no in betting? I'd rather be backing AW claimers than a shorty in a beginners chase

    I back in Beginner's Chases,not usually Beginners's Hurdles.

Cue Card was very impressive there.

    Just watched the replay.

Effortless win and jumped really well apart from one mistake

Looking forward to seeing him up in grade

1/2 seems a bargain looking back.I had him in a 79 cent double with Arsenal :pac:

I backed Man U -1 on the asians. Toyed with the idea of doubling them with Cue Card but left it

Asian was a push so would have reverted to a single on Cue Card. Oh well :p

I got 8/13. Dunguib at 1/7 in his maiden hurdle wasn't as nice
