    Hello
My name is Sanjit and I am Indian programmer, I am currently in US but planning to move to Europe preferrably to Irleand to find some good programming job or even managerial job I do have a lot of experience.
Reason I post in European Union is because in december EU will sign free trade with India and it allow me and thousands of indian freely move to EU to look for employement. Do you think will it pass?, I am really anxious to move to Irleand or UK so are many of my friends who are now in India
What you think ?, here is the link to the article
I heard that contracts are around 300 euro a day for programming jobs
I am willing to work for around 200 or even little less, please help me
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/immigration/8051349/India-trade-deal-with-EU-will-allow-thousands-of-immigrants-into-Britain.html
    Sincerely
    Sanjit new European :)

why dont you get a job in the usa... that agreement would take a long while to kick in, its not so easy to get a job in Ireland thesedays..

why do you want to come here anyway, Im sure there are opportunities in the whole of the EU, ceratinly if you are at managerial level

I am a hard worke, I can work over time free and I will work for less than Irish ,thats good for Irish business.
I am planning to bring my relatives and family to Irleand or Europe and it is from what I have heard from other foreigners easier to get residency than in USA, also your benefits and social help is much better, easier to claim and get money from government that is very very good

From what I read you must have secured work before traveling and even then the deal only allows one year of work but this has all to be finalized.
Even if it does pass and is signed in December then I don't think it will take effect from the date it is signed. There would have to be systems set up to cope with the new deal so I would think it would be six months to a year at least before it takes effect.

I don't understand comments from people like pieface. There is already a big thread about the lack of people for developer jobs and other IT positions so if we have to fill the positions with people from further afield then so be it. As long as they are paying taxes and contributing to the economy it is all okay in my eyes. A huge danger facing Ireland is that employers in IT and Engineering can't find enough candidates over here and as such they might just move to a country where they can find the potential employees (India namely). It is better for us to keep the company here and allow migrants work there than to have the company move to where the migrants are.

If you have the right Visa you can work. But you'll have to compete with programmers working for free on the WPP schemes.

I agree. The questions appear to be designed to provoke an emotional response...

If some one wishes to come work thats fine but when people are coming for the benefits its taking the piss.

I apologise, I didn't see that post! But woah can't say I really go for people who just want to milk the system.
He won't be able to bring his family anyway. As said a contract for working needs to be guaranteed before they could avail of the agreement and from reading around it only seems to apply for an individual, dependents cannot be brought over.

why are people making serious replies to this obvious troll? (Fair play to you though "Sanjit", you managed to work both "coming to steal Irish jobs" and "sponging off the welfare" into the same post.)

Something about this doesn't seem right, so I'm closing this until it can be checked.
