    Has anyone been ?

My impression is that it's choc full of coffin dodgers.......

What would it be like in late Feb?............

We're looking for a self catering holiday with the grandparents and 1 year old son where we can access babysitting services from a nearby hotel........

Have been looking at the Canaries but afraid of getting stuck out in the middle of nowhere with nothing but lunar landscape and other villas around us.................

I've heard it attracts an older clientel alright but the island looks beautiful

would you not be equally "stuck out in the middle of nowhere" with madeira though?
Geographically it's almost identical to canaries
