Its in in Annaheim, CA so it wont start for a few hours yet (8 hr time difference).

Pretty sure you need to pay for the stream, you did last year. Actually on second thoughts, the pay stream was for all the panels and workshops, maybe the games will be free. Just check on teamliquid, theyll have a link to it or any other restreams

Tournaments are free to watch according to the Blizzard site. They'll be at the following link: http://blizzcon.rayv.com/

Need a virtual ticket for this I think

    its 40 dollars

I bought it last year (prety sure it was less then) cos i wanted to see the cata info. Wasnt really worth it cos boubou had already leaked nearly all of it.

I cant see many suprises this year as theres nothing really to announce, unless of course they unveil the mystery mmo theyre working on, but there would probably be rumblings about that already.

edit: just realised i wrote this post thinking i was posting on the wow forum, sorry :)

As im a huge wow, starcraft and diablo fan I bought it. I doubt they would say anything about the secret mmo with wow expansion coming out though. Looking forward to the sc2 tournament the most

How was it Dustaz? Gave up after the Fenix match - had been waiting ages for it...and then "coming soon" came up for the next match - gave it a while but wasn't going to wait for the same amount of time as I did for the first one.

    🤪

Awful coverage, ah I just gave up

felt like it was a totally private event, they didn't want the outside world involved or something

GSL is a million times better

Blizzcon is once a year, probably alot of teething issues alright.

GSL runs every day, most weeks of the year for a number of years I'm sure they have ironed out their teething issues long ago, although their current streaming is terrible, having to log through teamliquid to view gsl cause their stream lines are over flowing.

Even the HQ guys yesterday and thursday were complaining so happy I havnt paid yet, and i wont until I hear they have sorted their **** out.

Isnt the blizzcon one just a big of a showpiece, its not like a proper tourny with prize money is it?

also interested to even know whats going on at this years blizzcon since well, SC2 and Wow had their day in the sun, is it just a **** load of Diabl o3 or something, usually they have lots of big announcements at blizzcon but if its nothing new bar diablo3, mmm.

Wonder if they will drop something on the new mmo

*Turns out there is loads of Cataclysm recap stuff since there has been alot of changes since last blizzcon announcements*

To quote Day9's twitter - "Holy Boxer vs Fruitdealer"

The coverage has been pretty bad, worse than a 100 dollar sunday cup unfortunately

I mean the prize money is massive, huge starcraft 2 names there - a large portion of the best players around the world, ALL the best casters, Day9, Tasteless, Artosis - and they managed to show like 3 games? the gaps were just too big, most just gave up. Och its easy to bitch, but really, they could've had just an sc2 tourney stream going, they must've spent 100k on just the sc2 comp alone and it was just too inaccessible, oh well, some games on today, hopefully they'll cop on a bit.

    TRUTH.

It was so so so annoying last night. 3 games with an hour gap between them all. Then to top it all off the stream went down during boxer vs fruitdealer.
