Good Garage on Southside of Dublin for Car Service?

    Can anyone recommend a good (honest) garage to get my car serviced/pre NCT done on the Southside of Dublin?

    Southside covers a large area.

    I used to go to Sandford motors when I lived around Ranelagh/Rathmines.

    ( In between Ranelagh and Clonskeagh on the Clonskeagh Road )

    I recommended them before and the poster replied back later that they were happy with them. Previous Link

    I've no connection with them, they were just decent auld guys who had been mechanics for years.

    They're good lads all right, one of the last of the old fashioned garages still in business.

    Hi guys,

    Just got my car nct done and it failed on a few visual bits. Wondering if I have to go to a specific renault garage as theres only 2 left in dublin now and they have the monopoly on the price market and can charge what they want.

    The main issue i have to get fixed is the third brake light.. apparantly this is a whole part which is very hard to get.. anyone got any recommendations?
