MacBook Air Release Date?

Hi all, Has the new air been released yet or do we have to wait awhile? Friend of mine in the states for the weekend and I'd get him to pick one up for me if their in stores already.

Yep, it's out now and is available to order online. Ships in 1-2 business days. US Applestores have them. I'm not sure when CompuB, etc over here are getting them.

right, i can answer this because ive been ringing around:

pcworld: no answer to their stores. useless.
compub - expect to get them next week in stock
apple store ireland: ships in 1-2 business days, takes 2-3 business days to deliver. The lady said if i ordered today, id get it by wednesday next week,
apple store belfast: due in stock tomorrow, not sure how much stock, ring back tomorrow to know if i can pop over saturday to pick a 13.3 64gb one up.
