    i have a quick question , i have just got a job and due to start on november 18th but we get paid montly so i say that will be around the 15th to the 21st of december,i cant afford to go that long with out money and financially i would be fcuked !!! so is it vise-able signing off 3 to 5 days before i get paid?? will this be a problem ??

    Yes that's welfare fraud. You will be found out eventually and will have to pay it back and could be prosecuted. Go to your community welfare officer and explain your situation.

    It would be a huge problem if you were caught.

    Your best bet is to go to the bank with a copy of my contract of employment and ask for an overdraft facility to tide you over. If you have a credit card it's handy as you can buy stuff interest-free once you pay it back on time.

    Another point.. it's unlikely that your month runs from november 18th to December 15th. There's a good chance you'll get paid from Nov 18th to Nov 30th.
    My work put it through as an advance for the last 2 weeks of the month, then the following month deducted the advance from a larger payslip for the month-and-a-half.
