The Car will be registered to your registered address which is on your p60 / Cert of Tax free alowances or the address which the revenue has in their system (Which should be the address on your p60)

Afaik it gets registered in the county from the address that Revenue have via your PPSI number.

    thank you for the information

Do you happen to know what documents are acceptable as proof of address. The garage is doing this for me but have not got anything definitive as it is not until tomorrow week.

Always somebody going to tell you ya got robbed! Not as far as I am concerned. For that mileage and the condition of the car, I know I got a nice deal! You don't even know what I paid.

Been researching it ages, hundreds of focus cars about, all with shed loads of miles. I am happy.

Maybe I do.. :p Nah only kidding, I have been looking at the auctions in the UK for a CMAX myself and been spotting the Focus diesels also so I would have a good idea what they are getting over there. I am not telling you that you got robbed, just that I know what fetch thats all.

For the price of them over here in Ireland you have a got a good deal even if you gave him 12500 euro for it.

    Good luck with it anyway
