Hi I am back in college as a mature student and I have started to really fancy a guy
from my class (he is five years younger). We get on really well, have a laugh and just generally seem to have a lot in common. He goes out a fair bit and seems to get a lot of female attention as he a good looking guy, I don't tend to go out as much but when I do we will hang out together. Sometimes I feel there something there other then friendship but that could be me reading too much into it. I never wanted to have feelings for someone from my class but I can't stop thinking about this guy. I wouldn't have the nerve to ask him out, I find it very hard to "chat men up"!! Should i just distance myself from him or try and find out through signals if he is keen?? how are you supposed to know if its just friends or something more on his mind..

Sorry for long post thank you for reading.

I say try and see if he likes you too.

Due to the fact you are in a class with him you will naturally be worriy about his behaviour changing to you if he doesnt like you the same way. But dont worry about that.

Just flirt with him next time. If he likes you the same way, he'll return the advances. If he doesnt, you get your answer :)

Its best to try than not to try at all.

Tricky one I would say just stay mates with him and see how it goes, I always think the best relationships come from friendship so hang on in there hope it works out.
