    jesus, definitely eat!!

i'm jsut back from a crossfit class, i made myself a nice thai style stir fry with loads of veg, dash of cocunut milk, tofu and chickpeas (both are great sources of protein for muscle repair).. 15 min job. i also had a 'whey to go' protein shake.

what about an omelette? again, good source of protein. scrambled eggs at the very least. skipping dinner would be madness

it would be aot easier just to take some sort of suppement shake..........if your weightlifting and this is the last thing you,l eat/drink before sleeping i suggest bsn syntha-6 preotein powder........its a bend of 6 types of protein so will give your body an immediate source of protein and other recovery based nutrients and wi also give you sow digesting proteins for hours whie you sleep and repair muscle.

you can get it in the ilac centres supplement store ..........its pretty cheap.....

    ...................................................

if you dont like supplements........drink a litre of milk and eat a can of tuna.........

    Indeed :p

OP, dunno what your night is like after training. Does it take you long to get home? Do you have to be in bed quick to get up early?

If it were me I'd be sure to eat well during the day as a whole (no point running on empty by the time training arrives). As for post training, if you're home in a short time and have time to cook then make something protein rich (as mentioned above eggs, chicken, etc plenty of good protein food you can whip up if you have time). Also, remember to rehydrate again with the food (just saying just in case :) ).

If you don't get home for a bit then maybe bringing a protein shaker (with some basic whey powder in) with you to training then you can make a shake and have it afterwards when you catch the bus home or whatever. It's a great way to get a quick 50grams of protein in right away. If you still have time when you do get home then you can cook up something smaller/simpler.

    Hope this helps :)

Last night, when I got home from the gym I had a 250g Fillet steak, 4 soft boiled eggs, scooped out into a bowl and mixed with quartered cherry tomatoes and spring onions & a medium salad. This was after having a 2 scoop protein shake immediately after my workout :D:D:D

    Nyom, Nyom, Nyom,
